Paintings of cherries seemed popular about two years ago when I couldn't paint them fast enough. Fashions change. This year it's pencils. I thought I'd paint some cherries anyway for old times sake. I painted it quickly and resisted my usual compulsion to go over it again, correcting tones etc, so it's very fresh. Fresh cherries anyone?
