Just trying out some new tubes of Old Holland paint I got. Italian Brown-Pink Lake, Brilliant Rose, Nickel Titanate, Raw Umber,Green Earth,Ochre, Ivory Black and Old Holland Yellow Light. Beautiful paint. The only paint that I know of available in NZ that is still ground in linseed oil. Every other manufacturer uses safflower oil these days. Safflower doesn't yellow but it is a poor dryer and forms weak films. All the millions of paintings being painted today will no doubt crack and fall off the support tomorrow. C'est la vie.
