Little Orange Pencil

Little Orange Pencil
Acrylic on linen

I recently purchased some of the new Golden Open Acrylics to try. I normally use oils as my preferred medium because of their richness and slow drying quality making subtle blending and brushwork possible. The Open acrylics are a new paint tecnology that gives the normally fast drying acrylic an open and extended working time pretty much equivilent to oil paints. I thought I'd give them a try and I must say that I am impressed. This is the first painting I did with them and I am offering it for sale exclusively on TradeMeNZ at an absurd $1 reserve!
