It's a nice change focusing my eyes into the distance of the landscape, instead of on small close-up objects for a while! This is the view from my studio back door. There was originally another cow in this picture with it's tail raised and doing what cows naturally do, however, it didn't look right and I cowardly painted it out! I felt like painting cows because the local art critic was recently bemoaning the fact that local artists paint cows, and our mountain too much. I was happy to be able to include a red barn as well, to really make his day...
